Deborah Gomes-Schultz is Canada’s National Contact Point for OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Deborah manages the NCP Secretariat located in the Responsible Business Practices Unit at Global Affairs Canada. She has a Master’s degree in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights from the University of Essex and many years experience working on governance, gender equality, human and child rights and responsible business practices, from both a programming and policy perspective. Deborah has spent most of her career working for the Government of Canada, formerly at the Canadian International Development Agency and now Global Affairs Canada. Before joining the Federal Government, Deborah worked with CSOs in Madagascar, South Africa and Canada, and the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
